I sit in silence
With myself
And see,
There is a tiny, but heavy part of me
That resists,
How I want to be.
It resists,
Change for the better,
It resists,
My colorful dreams,
It resists,
With stubborness as yet unseen,
Firmly refusing to give in.
In silence I sit
With me,
And listen,
For I want
To be clear:
Why does it persist?
Is it habit?
Is it fear?
Some deep negative belief?
What is this strong grip?
What is it, what is it,
That doesn’t want to let me
Lighter, more expansive,
At peace with life to be?
What is it inside,
That sabbotages me?
In silence I sit,
With me,
And continue to search,
For I want to know –
My mission is, my urge,
Deep inside to go,
To uncover and see
The truth that only I
Can find for me.
It’s not easy to be present
In that gloomy space,
To dare and keep looking
My fear in the face.
In turmoil, noticing
My urge to escape…
It’s not easy but my freedom I hold so dear,
That I bravely waitTil insight comes near –
And I can finally feel and see:
What resists so harshly in me
Is my ego’s desire to be!
It’s last chance to triumph over
The birth of a new, freeer me!
It’s like a stone I need to break;
A monster hiding In innocent lake..
A knife-sharp hardnessI need to soften,
Before I can harvest
Smoothness long forgotten,
Waiting for me
On a path untrodden.
Deep in my soul I hear a scream,
I see my face tense and grim,
I hear a curtain
Being torn apart
Inside my shaken being;
A curtain, heavy and hard
A veil of needless suffering,
That’s now falling apart
Through my refusal to make it
My destiny,
As I allow this moment to be,
And yield to the power of it!
As I cease resisting
Resistance itself,
Starting to accept
My resisting self
I’m able to see:
Stone starts to melt, dissolve, dissapear…
My breath is free and light,
No tension, shame or fear,
In my chest – no fight.
It’s the end of inner war,
And I witness the opening
Of a new, golden door.
It’s a door that leads me home
To the lightness of just being,
To a place of greater freedom,
A lustrous place where angels sing;
A peaceful place with no story.
Neither future, nor history;
A place of soul’s victory!
A place where every moment
Is sacred, intense and sweet.
A place
I want
I yearn
I deserve
To be!
The perfect place in me. ![]()
